BuildoutFeed is discontinued.
BuildoutFeed was a signal-fusion engine for NYC restaurant and bar pre-openings. Every DOB filing, SLA application, DOH inspection, and public record fused into a daily 7am briefing so vendors could get to the door before their competition. It ran for about a year. I have shut down the customer-facing product.
Why
Wrong audience, right data. The vendors who needed the briefing the most were also the hardest to reach and the slowest to buy. Rather than keep grinding the go-to-market, I am folding the underlying data into the projects that actually pay it back.
What still lives
- The NYC pre-opening dataset continues to power the BarTeams newly-licensed venues digest.
- If you were a subscriber, your billing has been paused. Reach out if you have questions.
- If you want the raw NYC license data or a custom vendor pipeline for your own book, I still build that on a project basis.

The full write-up covers what I built, what it demonstrated, why I killed it, how to bring it back, and what it means for what I ship next.
Need a lead engine for a specific book of business?
The BuildoutFeed engine still runs behind the scenes for a handful of internal projects. If you have a specific vertical inside NYC hospitality where you need first-look on new accounts, I can build a private version for you. If you want to relaunch BuildoutFeed itself as a vendor partnership or white-label it to another city, that path is open too.
